How We Started

We are a non-for-profit company, just beginning in 2023.

We saw the difficulty firsthand of a soldier seeking legal assistance after being harassed at his workplace and the frustration it caused. He admitted the thoughts of hurting the people at his job who he felt wrong him.  He told us how he was ready to take his life.  This Veteran was being treated by the VA for over 10 years, following the program and taking his medications.

The psychiatrist noticed that treatment and medication increased.  She called to follow up with him as she understood the situation he had been going through at his job.  He had been there for over 13 years without incident.  For 12 years he was a model employee, received all types of awards, lead many special projects, had a good reputation and never argued with anyone.

He always assisted anyone who needed help.  Everything was going well until he was promoted to management.  There was a situation where he was held accountable for an incident and placed on final probation. He was not fired; he was asked to admit wrongdoing even after he showed evidence to leadership that he was compliant.

His psychiatrist convinced him to check himself in to the psychiatric ward of the VA Hospital and advised him to seek legal assistance. Due to his mental status, his doctor placed him on long term disability for his mental safety and the safety of others. Even then things went downhill. Once the doctors at the VA filled out his paperwork, provided medical records, and explained PTSD in detail, Prudential still denied his claim.

He sought assistance from the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). For some reason they could not finish their investigation, but they gave him a Right to Sue letter.  He had 90 days to file his case once he received his letter. He explained how he saw many Attorneys and the only thing that most of them would try to do was get a settlement.  On that last day to file he found a law firm willing to take over his case.

His anger and sadness would not let him quit. His psychiatrist pushed him to keep going even though the way some of these attorneys spoke to him made him want to just check out.

This is the story of just one Veteran.  We searched for free legal help for Veterans. We saw a need for a program for free legal help for Veterans. This moved us to the point that we established our non-profit organization to help Veterans get legal assistance.
