We are the newly founded nonprofit organization, Healing Sword of Life.

First, I would like to add that any veteran who has served in the armed forces is welcome to join our organization. Please fill out the enclosed form with your information and show your support; the more individuals we have, the stronger we are.

According to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, approximately 3.6% of U.S. adults (about 8 million people) have PTSD in a given year. We strive to help assist in providing knowledgeable, and compassionate legal assistance for PTSD sufferers. We are not lawyers. We speak with law firms to ensure that they are aware of how their comments will affect a person with PTSD. We have taken the opportunity to try to ensure that using our services won’t impact the client with any fees from the attorney. To pay for this service, we ask for donations. Additionally, as we collaborate with the law firm, we attempt to reduce their fee because most law firms charge 40% of any winnings.

Veterans seeking legal aid for benefits are not eligible for them from us. We refrain from doing this since you have an abundance of options available to you to help you deal with this issue.

We tend to overlook misconduct committed against veterans on the job or during public service, here is a resource to turn to to fight back.

If it falls within our region of coverage someone will get in touch with them and explain how we can proceed. Nearly half of all Americans know veterans who have PTSD.

Some of the services that we want to provide for veterans help with legal contracts. (Many times, it would be incredibly beneficial to have an attorney take a moment to review issues and provide instructions in so many instances that get them caught up in simply signing on the dotted line.)
